Future Plans:

ENT & Head Neck Cancer Foundation is now running a 50 bed hospital in the newly constructed building at Sher-e Bangla Nagar, Dhaka. Indoor, Outdoor, Investigation and operation facilities are being provided there. However the hospital cannot function properly due to a lack of 2 passengers cum bed lifts and a generator. Moreover, existing 5 storied building is needed to be extended vertically up to 12 stories according to the original plan approved by the Department of Architecture. Due to limited resources, further construction has yet to be started in order to complete the 100 bed hospital as per approved plan. A further 7 floors is required to be constructed on top of the existing structure.

The Hospital cannot run properly due to a lack of some urgently needed machinery and equipment. Radiology and imaging unit, Pathology/Laboratory, ICU are yet to be set-up in the Hospital. A cancer treatment unit is also required to be established. These activities cannot be managed due to a lack of funds.
